First Outing With Grandma!!!!

We took Holly out for our first walk today! I remembered how to push a pram, after 32yrs that's good going I think!!! We went round The Clough, for two hrs...wanted to give Charlotte some time to just chill. Holly slept all the time we were out, fresh air & the movement of the pram.

When we got back Charlie was reading her magazines & had showered. I hope she enjoyed some time on her own; so hard to get with a hungry baby around. Tomorrow they are going to register Holly's birth...the milestones just keep coming!!!

Ouch!!!

Ouch...it hurts, not seeing Charlotte, Stephen & Holly today. I HAVE to give them some freedom from me time. Stephen returns to work next Wednesday. I never gave much thought to paternity leave, but after all the support Charlotte has had I now realise how important it is. As Charlie had a section Stephen has been very hands on since Holly was born. I think this bides well. Us Mum's do tend to take over the baby care (or was that just me?) if Dad's have to do so much straight from the start I think it is great for their relationship. My Dad & I were very close...I know Holly will be close to her Daddy too!

Great Auntie Lil!!!

Lilian saw Holly for the first time this evening. She now has two Great nieces! She has always been a wonderful Auntie & I'm sure she will be a brilliant Great Auntie too. Anne, her sister, is on holiday at present...I'm sure she will be as thrilled to see Holly as Lilian was.
